Quartet of Contract Extensions |
Howes Etc has negotiated early season contract extensions for four Super League players. Huddersfield Giants scrum half/hooker Luke Robinson has extended his current three-year contract for another two years to the end of the 2012 season. Robinson has previously played for Salford City Reds and Wigan Warriors, plus Castleford Tigers on loan. Up-and-coming utility back Jordan Thompson has pledged his future to Castleford Tigers through to the end of 2011, plus signing a dual contract with York City Knights for this season. Hull Kingston Rovers pack duo Rhys Lovegrove and Liam Watts have both extended their contracts for another two years to now expire in November 2012. Australian Lovegrove has been converted from centre to prop during his three-year stay with the Robins, while fellow front row man Watts, 20 in July, joined Rovers for the 2008 season having been released by hometown Castleford Tigers. |
