David Howes has successfully qualified for statutory licences to act as an official Player’s Agent in both Rugby League and Soccer, plus being recognised by the Rugby Union Players Association.

Howes Etc has rapidly established the status of being one of the top management agencies in UK Rugby League.

Recent major negotiations have been the round-the-world relocation of England second row forward Gareth Ellis to Wests Tigers in the NRL, establishing the former Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats packman as one of the world’s top-rated players.  Plus the securement of a five-year contract extension with Huddersfield Giants for newly-capped England Test prop Eorl Crabtree.

David Topliss, who captained Great Britain and was awarded the coveted Lance Todd Trophy in 1979 during an illustrious 26-year Rugby League career, was an Associate Director from early 2003 until his untimely death in June 2008 at the age of 58. 

Existing player management operations are generally based on a commission structure, calculated as a percentage of the player’s earnings. 

As part of the player management consultancy, Howes Etc has established a specialist in-house service for media projection for key clients via television, radio and newspapers.
